NAPAS election results

By : Public Voice The NAPAS departmental election for 2025/26 commenced at 11:40 a.m  with eligible voters arriving at the polling venue to exercise their franchise. Voting began in an orderly manner as election officials coordinated the accreditation process and distributed login credentials to voters, enabling them to access the electronic voting platform. Throughout the exercise, election observers monitored the process and documented key developments. While voting generally proceeded peacefully, there were periods of technical challenges, including poor network connectivity that temporarily disrupted access to the voting website, leaving some voters unable to cast their ballots. These delays resulted in complaints from several voters regarding the slow pace of the voting process. NAPAS Departmental debate and manifesto results

By:Isaiah Anuolwapo Mary The departmental manifesto commenced at 12:30pm , with Mr Segun , one of the event hosts and panelists, declaring the programme open. He began by confirming the presence of all aspirants before explaining the guidelines for the exercise to both the audience and contestants. This included the time allotted for citation recitation, manifesto presentations, responses to questions, and other necessary procedures. The screening exercise then proceeded with the Public Liaison Officer (PLO)  position, featuring Godwin Peter Oche.  Following the citation recitation by his representative, he presented his manifesto, after which both the panelists and members of the audience engaged him in a question-and-answer session. NAPAS Departmental screening 2025/2026 session

By: Public voice  The National Association of Public Administration Students (NAPAS) on Friday, 31 July 2026 , conducted its departmental screening exercise for aspirants contesting various executive and legislative positions in the forthcoming departmental elections. The exercise commenced at approximately 11:20 a.m. under the supervision of the Electoral Committee, chaired by Israel Taiwo Okemakin . Other members of the committee included Taiwo Adesewa Praise (Secretary), Oshinaike Ayomide Opeyemi , Odesola Elizabeth Oluwafunke , Alawaye Iyanuoluwa Jemima , and Tajudeen Fathia Adejumoke.  And one Mr. David, who, according to the chairman, was invited personally by him to be a part of the electoral committee.  Throughout the exercise, aspirants were invited into the screening venue individually according to the offices they sought to contest. PHAP Emergency Congress.Deliberation on the faculty Election

 By: Fawole Folawe Date: 24 July 2026 Proceedings of the emergency congress commenced at approximately 1:00pm at Admin Extension venue with an opening prayer led by Congressman Folawe , followed by the recitation of the National Anthem. Before proceedings officially began, Congressman Farouk moved a motion to suspend the quorum requirement, which stipulates that at least 30 congressmen must be present before congress can commence. The motion was seconded by Congressman Adesola . With the motion adopted, Mr. President, Adedeji Sefiu , officially declared the congress open. Noting the absence of several executives, he requested reports from the available office holders and asked each to brief the congress on the activities and needs of their respective offices.
