Last sitting saga:Inappropriate Audit Report,Impeachment Controversy and Inauguration.

By :Fawole Folawe and Oluwasemilore Akeredolu Parliamentary Sitting: Back-and-Forth Over Audit Report The last parliamentary sitting began with Mr Speaker declaring the sitting open and apologizing for the delay. The sitting, which was scheduled for 10:00 a.m., started at 12:34 p.m. with the recitation of the Lord’s Prayer and the National Anthem led by Napasite Adetunji. Roll call was conducted, after which the minutes of the previous sitting were read by the Clerk,Hon. Kolawole Esther. Some corrections were made to the minutes. Honourable Stephen corrected the use of “suspension” to “impeachment,” while Honourable Rachael also made a correction, which was seconded by Honourable Stephen. Honourable Bolaji then moved for the adoption of the minutes, which was seconded by Honourable Mobolanle and endorsed by the outgoing Speaker.
