NAPAS HOLD ITS FIRST MARATHON

CROSS SECTION OF THE CONTESTANTS

   Involvement in sport activities could improve one's life in terms of physical fitness and mental health. 

Students get a chance to work on their physical and mental abilities to achieve goals in their life. We can realise the importance of sports in our daily life through a variety of national and international sports events organised all over the world where different players represent their countries and showcase their sporting capabilities. 


 In recognition of this, it's imperative that one commends the Executives of NAPAS (National Association Of Public Administration Students) under the leadership of President Odejide Anuoluwapo Janet (Ruby) and esteemed stewardship of The Director of Sports Gbolahan Babatunde Junior for bringing this idea to life. 

The Event which began in the early hours of Saturday the 19th of November 2023 had a lot of participants and competitors from the department who contested for the prize money.


Speaking with the President before the commencement of the event she explained how prepared and eager napasites were to see the winner of today's first historic event


The director of Sports narrated how he conceived the idea of NAPAS MARATHON and also rolled out the plans put in place as they kick start the event.


A Napasite also spoke about about her expectations towards the event .


The event had in attendance prominent stakeholders in the department who also contributed one way or the day such as the Speaker of the house Rt Honourable Olanrewaju Oluwatobiloba, The General Secretary(Adewale Adetomiwa) and the Treasurer(Fashipe Rukayat Funke) The Class Rep for the Class of Polyhistor (Aluko Emmanuel) The Class Rep for the class of Hypatios ( Keshinro Joseph) amongst other.




                  The event ended some minutes past 10am, with Abdulrahman Olalekan Badmus from part 2 clinging the first position followed by Oluwafemi Samuel Alia who won the second position and the 3rd position holder was Timilehin Joseph from part 1.



Dr shiyanbade presented the awards and prices to each winners and he heartily congratulated them.

By Public Voice News Agency The NAPAS parliamentary chamber roared back into activity on what should have been a quiet afternoon, as the legislative arm of the association met for what turned out to be a gripping session of debates, decisions, and disciplinary actions. The sitting, scheduled for 3:00 PM, officially began at 3:54 PM with an opening prayer led by the PLO, followed by a solemn rendition of the Great Ife Anthem. The reading of the last sitting’s minutes by the Clerk of the House marked the formal opening. The motion for adoption was moved by Hon.
