Sultan Hails Ooni For Establishing Varsity

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, have charged Nigerians to pray for leaders of government and traditional rulers in charge of the affairs of the people in different communities in the country. The two traditional rulers spoke in Ile-Ife, Osun State on Saturday at the unveiling of the Ojaja University, Ile-Ife campus. Audit Delay Stalls Renewal as NAPAS Holds First Congress of the Semester

  On December 3rd, the first congress sitting of the semester was conducted at the Administration Extension. The Congress officially commenced at exactly 2:20 PM and was presided over by the President. The opening prayer was taken by Congresswoman Tofunmi, followed by the recitation of the school anthem. The President called for the temporary suspension of Section 62 of the Constitution. The motion to suspend the section was moved by Congressman Toheeb and supported by Congressman Adetunji. Congressman Ayokanmi inquired about the absence of the General Secretary after being sworn in. The President explained that the General Secretary had informed him unofficially that she would not be available. The adoption of the agenda was then moved by Congressman Faruk and supported by Congressman Ayokanmi.
